Government Schemes for Womens

  • The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) is a central government scheme launched in 2015.
  • Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana Scheme For loans ranging from Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 25 lakhs, collateral is necessary. The loan has a seven-year repayment period. This scheme also offers a personal loan interest rate reduction of up to 2%.
  • Streeshakti scheme was launched in 2000-01 with the mission of empowering women through self-help groups.
  • Nidhi Yojana Initiated by the Small Industrial Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the Mahila Udyam Nidhi Yojana offers financial assistance and credit facilities to women entrepreneurs in production, manufacturing, and service-related industries.
